About CALT (The Centre for Advanced Learning Technologies)

CALT, The Centre for Advanced Learning Technologies, is one of the well-established Centres of Excellence at INSEAD. Research focuses on advanced learning systems – and particularly game-like dynamics - for management development and effective knowledge exchange.

calt-map.jpg CALT Researchers design and study the impact of Learning Innovations ranging from experiential learning simulations like EIS (a change management simulation deployed successfully worldwide in top management schools and corporations) to advanced knowledge and innovation management systems like InnoTube.

Simulations and Game Dynamics in learning are addressed at the individual, team, organizational and community level in a large set of connected Joint Research Projects which also cover subjects such as identity and attention management, intelligent agents and other Learning Innovations.

INSEAD's Centre for Advanced Learning Technologies (CALT) was officially launched in the 1995/96 academic year.
