Project Abstract: EIS Simulation

EIS Simulation: A SmallWorld Simulation of Change and Innovation Dynamics

The EIS Simulation is a continuously evolving project focusing on the dynamics of change and innovation in organizational contexts. It is widely used at INSEAD, in top business schools worldwide, and a continuous source of new research and development projects leading to new SmallWorld Simulation addressing Learning & Change Dynamics at the individual or organizational level and in a variety of contexts (see for instance ChangeMasters).

Current developments include new features related to Network & Mapping Software to emphasize the social networks dimension of the EIS Simulation, as well as the development of GamePlayers supporting the distributed use of the simulation and providing a new set of real-time intervention features enhancing significantly the value of the learning experience for the participants, but also its flexibility, its suitability to collect research data, and its wide deployment in different contexts.
