Profile
Katrina Maxwell is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Advanced Learning Technologies at INSEAD. Her research has been published in such journals as IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, IEEE Software, Management Science and Academic Press' prestigious "Advances in Computers" series. She is the author of Applied Statistics for Software Managers published by Prentice Hall PTR. A Chinese translation was published by Tsinghua University Press in June 2006.
Katrina Maxwell received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Brunel University. She has taught at the University of Illinois, INSEAD and the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris. As a result of her research in software devevelopment productivity and cost estmation, she was Program Chair of the ESCOM-SCOPE 2000 and 2001 conferences, and was a Keynote Speaker at the 2004 IFPUG conference.
Her current research interests include measuring the impact of advanced simulations, intelligent agents and virtual learning spaces on learning, change, innovation and collaboration.
