Research Interests

My research focuses on the design of advanced/intelligent information systems using AI techniques.
I am interested to design and prototype software systems that better support their users (personalized interaction,
adaptive hypermedia, multimodal interaction).

Main Areas of Interests

Some of the Research Projects I have been involved

Over the last 6 years, I have worked within different research projects:  Ontologging, an EC funded project,
KInCA (Knowledge Intelligent Conversational Agents) a Xerox funded project,
NIMIS (Networked Interactive Media in Schools) an I3 project (Intelligent Interactive Interfaces).

         KInCA

I was awarded the PhD degree with honors in December 2003 at Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse.
My PhD thesis
"User Model and User Modeling in Knowledge Management Systems (KMSs):
an Ontology-based Approach
” is a European labeled PhD. The thesis
explores the role of user models
and user modeling within KMSs. A short abstract of my thesis can be found here. (pdf)
